Uhomes & Spectrum Business / Sales & CRM

Customer conversations.
Measurable sales.

People rarely need another pitch. They need an answer to the thing holding them back. At Uhomes and Spectrum Business, I used neighborhood walks, plan comparisons, negotiation and follow-up to help customers decide, and exceeded the sales targets in both roles.

Customer relationships

Helping a search become a decision.

The hesitation
Would the neighborhood and commute work in everyday life?
My response
I walked clients around the area, pointed out nearby amenities and timed the subway-to-building walk. I also negotiated with buildings for better offers.
The principle
Make the decision tangible. Some client relationships became friendships, reflecting the personal nature of the work.

Above target.
Across both product lines.

Before recommending a switch, I compared the customer’s existing plan with the available options. In one month, I made 3 internet sales and nearly 20 mobile sales against goals of 1 and 5.

Spectrum / A customer example

Ten mobile lines.
One point of contact.

For one customer in Chinatown, switching meant moving ten mobile lines, including her staff’s. I helped her through the process, so she had one person to come back to when questions came up.

Before the recommendation
I compared customers’ current mobile plans with Spectrum’s options to assess whether switching would benefit them.
Through the transition
For this customer, I supported the transfer of all ten lines, including her staff’s. The sale included practical help throughout the process.

This is one customer example, separate from the one-month KPI figures above.

The work behind the numbers

Follow-through, supported by CRM.

I used Salesforce and Buyflow to support the sales process. The systems helped keep track of the work; listening, following up and making the next step clear were still my job.

Understand

Start with the customer’s need.

“Too far from the subway” and “too much on my phone bill” call for different answers. I start with the concern, then work toward a recommendation.

Explain

Make the options clear.

At Uhomes, I made neighborhood and commute questions tangible through walks and timed routes. At Spectrum, I compared the customer’s existing mobile plan with available options before recommending a switch.

Follow through

Keep the conversation moving.

I keep the conversation connected to a practical next step, whether that means clarifying an offer, following up on a property or helping with a mobile transfer.
